Really? Yeah, I'd be on the bandwagon for that ban. I wonder just how fat and lazy we can make our kids today? Love these parents that would defend their kids' rights to get as fat and stupid as they want. Kudos to the mom who figures out a way to have less work in her day by having to actually think about what their child learns/eats at school functions. More time for bon bons for you.

+1 Snack, snack, snack = fat, fat, fat. Too many snacks, too much of the time! Thank goodness some are limiting it. When you would prefer your kids don't eat sugar every day, you are the mean mommy. But when you DC gets obese from it ... another chance to be the bad mom.

Sorry I was super busy--my son brought gatorade, bananas and pretzels for his team, so relatively healthy picks for a junior in high school. The parents were surprised that he was able to remember to buy and bring the snacks himself.

Because I used reasoning and probably have some "book learnin'" Guilty as charged.

P.S. I grew up dirt poor and worked my tail off to obtain a better life for myself. If that makes me elitist, that is fine with me.
