I own several expensive pens - a couple of them gifts from my father, so they have sentimental value in addition to monetary value. Nevertheless, I would most definitely lend someone my pen for two minutes so that they could fill out a form in a customs line. It's bizarre that so many posters on this thread defend this man. Yes, it his perogative to say no, but it's incredibly selfish.

But I guess I shouldn't be too surprised .... I think DCUM-ers are always looking for a way to be contrarian and nasty. Tomorrow there will be a post from an OP stating they didn't want to share their pen and everyone will call the OP a selfish a-hole.
