Do you have any Iranian friends? I love this show because I can relate.
I do not have a ton of Iranian friend, but one of my best friends is iranian and she is NOTHING like the people on the show. She is a professional career woman, unmarried, and financially takes care of her mother and grandparents.
She dresses normally and is very humble. She is extremely intelligent, well read, and has a fasciating story of how her family had to flee iran when the Shah fell.
I'm sorry to break it to you, but I have no friends like the trash on that show. You have friends like that? That says a lot about you.

His exclusive boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills was established in 1976. It has been described as "the most expensive store in the world". Bijan was also known for his automobiles. Most notable in his car collection was a yellow Bentley Azure with black interior, as well as a Black Bentley Azure with yellow interior. He was also known to have a black Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren with a customized paint scheme, a yellow Ferrari 430 Spider, a yellow Rolls Royce Drophead coupe, and a Bugatti Veyron, all of which he was known to park outside of his Rodeo Drive boutique. Sounds like this guy would have perfect for this show at one time.
But he was not a superficial man. Bijan designed seasonal collections for the most powerful men in the world. He was an extraordinary Man! A connoisseur of quality, perfection and universal design excellence, Bijan was a genius marketer of perception and image for his men’s couture, haute jewelry and a spectrum of award-winning fragrances. His lofty eminence and multi-billion dollar empire as the peerless purveyor of elegance and affluence, was uniquely forged in 1976 on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, by just three words, ‘by appointment only’, offering him unprecedented access to the greatest wealth in the world. He was a treasure of enormous admiration and remarkable creative brilliance. Do YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO READ A LIST HIS AWARDS & HONORS?

Ooookay, but the why did the poster chose to list characteristics that feed into the program?
There is a big difference btw the superficial and materialistic people who just spend money and the people who love their jobs and are trying hard to be the best one. Yes, Bijan had his exclusive Bijan-designed Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport and ... but it doesn't mean he was a materialistic person. He was not a wealthy man from his childhood, he worked hard and succeeded. Is Bill Gates a supericial and materialistic man?

I do not get the Gigi hate. Someone explain. Yes, I know she said that she did not like ugly people but still.
I am glad they are taking the high or lighthearted road on the flirty Muslim and Jewish attraction b/w Mike and Gigi. Is his name Mike? I may have just given him a new name.
