Husband's income has more than tripled (to over $1.5 million annually) since we decided it was best for us for one of us to stay home while the other one ramped up his career.
when the next "what does your DH make?" thread is posted, we'll call you.
Was that necessary?
This is why men will always rule over women. You just couldn't pass up the chance to be nasty huh? Did it make you feel better about your life?
Haha, not the PP but have you ever heard men talking to each other? They razz on each other waaay more harshly than PP's comment! doubt snark is the reason for the wage gap, my dear.![]()
Besides, I agree with PP...this isn't a HHI thread, so SAH PP should have said $0. PP is right that there will be a HHI thread again soon, where DH salaries can be shared. I think PP would have been less irritated if SAH PP had been upfront that it was DH's salary instead of phrasing it to appear that she earned that money (it also irritated me as it came across as braggy and dishonest).

How many years of experience do you have? I didnt realize govt atty's ever made over 155ish.
This person is not on the GS scale. Probably quite senior, and quite talented. $200 is unusual.
Why, thank you. More common.than you would think. Especially with lawyers. Not so much now, but a few years ago a big firm lawyer right out of law school made this much...

Government paralegal $75,000.
Would love to do this. My B.A. is in English.
Do you recommend an ABA-recognized paralegal course (Georgetown has one)? Just wondering how I can get "in" because I have no legal experience (I'm an admin asst for an non-profit).

Off the top of my head, I could name a dozen attorneys at my agency making $200K. But thanks for your informative comment.![]()
What agency bureau, this scum needs to be scrapped
