#PHOTOAFFECTIONS IS A COMPLETE JOKE!!!! MESSAGE I SENT TO THEM ON FACEBOOK....

I am more than irrate with your company!!!! I have sent Christmas cards out for ovver 20 years. But not this year - for the first time. Monday night I ordered and paid the shopping cost to have them overnight to me. Tuesday - didn't come but realized because I placed.order pretty late. Well - Wednesday didn't come - I emailed your company. Back and forth 17 times with customer service rep names Andy with an attitude who all he knew what to do was ridicule me and act like I was an idiot and claim overnight meant 3 days.. Kept saying not til Thursday 8:00 P.M!!!!!???. Since when does an overnight take 3 days and then not arrive until 8 pm? At this point I was beginning to.realize 90% of my cards would not get received in time for Christmas. Well -they never came last night!!!!!! Now it is Friday morning - no cards last night and no Christmas cards will be sent. You are a horrible and unprofessional company and I will put this review out everywhere so potential risk customers will know about your company. You are a joke!!!

Then the cards arrived and they were of an old design, not the final design I submitted! When I logged back in my order now showed an older design - not the one I had screenshotted from their order page the morning after the order. I have emailed the company so I am waiting on a response but due to a time crunch I may have to keep the cards as is.

UPDATE 5/11: The company called me back the same day I contacted them. They said they found the issue and it was on their end. They did find the actual order I originally submitted. They processed them and then mailed them out the next day via 1 day air. Just got them and I couldn't be happier. Fantastic customer service, nice product and I will be ordering from them again!

How is not receiving your order and having to call and have it reprinted/reshipped not a problem?

I have to say I have used them for almost 2 years and have never really had a problem. Once the prints never arrived and after calling them they reprinted and sent out immediately.

I am in the process of trying to use Photoaffectiosn for my wedding announcements. I put quite a bit of work into getting the announcement just right only to receive a note that the photos did not come through when I placed my order. This seems pretty bad for a company whose entire product revolves around taking your pictures and making a card or gift out of them. Who can their system be set up to allow photos not to transfer from design, to cart, to purchase? I am now trying to upload those photos again through their internal system (including a detailed description about where each one belongs and how it should be cropped to fit the provided format) only to find out it is experiencing issues and will not take the submission of my photos. Customer service has requested that I email them the photos with the verbiage about placement for each one. The amount of time this process is taking is not reasonable. If Photoaffections wants to remain in business as an online photo card designer and retailer, then they need to update their technology to avoid these snafus. Although their templates are superior to their competition, the time suck of this process will keep me from ever doing business with them again. I would not recommend using Photoaffections for any project.

Try Minted - love them. Ordered Christmas cards from PhotoAffections this year and had a TERRIBLE experience. Customer service was dreadful, borderline insulting. Our order was incorrectly printed, missing cards, stamp service was unfulfilled. The rep offered a $15 refund (on a hundred dollar order,) because "if you have to stamp them yourself, we feel that covers your time." BBB gives them 1.5 stars - wish I had checked before ordering.

Yes! Just had a horrible experience. After spending way too much time on a clunky website full of errors (like deleting my card after I was already finished), I was finally able to order (and I own an online marketing firm, so am very computer-savvy...it was not user errors causing the issues). The cards never arrived, so I checked into it. Some how my ordered had been deleted (though I did have a confirmation). I re-ordered, paying an extra $15 for 2-day shipping. It's been almost a week and still no cards. I called to ask for a refund since the cards won't make it before Christmas, and was put in a "We'll call you back" list. They called back...with an auto-message saying "Sorry. There are no agents available to call you back at this time." Don't use them!

Purchased a groupon for my Christmas photos, paid almost $50 so not inexpensive. I created my card, with 4 photos inside, had to do some reworking of the photo so our whole family was completely in photo. Each photo has a red border around picture, received cards and the whole left side of card is cropped off. My son is completely missing from out family photo. I told customer service I went back online to see if there was something I did wrong, I recreated the card and our family is completely inside of the borders. She stated that the borders are only on 2 of the photos the other 2 will not have complete borders. I told her that makes no sense because the 3rd photo had 3 sides of the border and the 4th picture only has 2 sides of the border, she said it was supposed to be that way for the asthetic. Bullshit!! That is crazy!, she said they could rush a reorder for a discounted rate of $60. I have been making cards, I make multiple calendars and do photo books for over 10 years, this is the worst product I have ever ordered. Extremely disappointed!!!

I just got my photo cards. Did the groupon deal then spent $30 more. I can't say how they look. I opened the box and pulled the picture box out and along the bottom of both boxes were bugs. Suspicious looking bugs!! Now I'm disinfecting my house. Do not order!!! Wish I would've read reviews before!!

I'm glad I saw this. Saw a deal on groupon but I'll pass.

Their products are sub par compared to shutterfly and snapfish. Plus their customer service is non existent. Been getting hourly emails to reorder the faulty cards I received.

Bought a deal on living social. Never again. Buyer beware. Spend twenty bucks more at a big national online photo retailer. You get what you pay for.

PHOTO AFFECTION SCAM... nothing in life is free! knowing this we pay $9.99 to ship 85 pictures which weighs .001 lb per picture. So .85 lb which is 13.6 ounces. for every .49 cent stamp you can ship 1oz via USPS. Doing the math shipping at most should only cost $6.66 PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did and pay the extra $1 for "expedited" shipping with a 4 to 7 day delivery as Im going on day 9 and still no pictures! this company is ripping people off at the rate of $3.33 an order or $4.33 for "faster shipping" which you may think owell that's not even $5 but lets say they have 1000 customers a month now the numbers change and we see the big picture! buyer beware!
