Subject: I don't work at work anymore
have not read this entire thread but wanted to give OP a positive story - a former coworker of mine did almost no work for at least 5 years. I honestly don't know what she did other than make calls related to her kid. but she did always seem smart, the job just wasn;t a good fit for her. eventually a friend from grad school hired her and she got a new job. the new job was a much better fit and she started working hard and has been promoted several times. So it may just be that you need a new job!

Don't you have to log your time (for billing clients)?
