Quick, somebody go get the medals for this couple! Seriously, not everyone can afford Clarendon or metro accessible homes. Doesn't make drunk driving ok at all. But the folks who say that people who drink frequently should move are not thinking clearly.
Sure, better to kill some innocent family on the road and keep the 5000 sq ft house on a cul-de-sac.
Or just quit getting drunk unless you have a responsible ride home. Or just don't drink. Its really much simpler than relocating.

If you drink after work, you should factor into your budget a ride home (as in the driver is someone who has not been drinking). Just don't drink and then drive. Easy. It's what we preach to our teens every day.
