For some reason I've never thought of cooking the tomatoes alongside the burger. I will try this next time.

We need to remember that stovetop stuffing seems to be the winner of this thread so that we can point to it when at Thanksgiving people are posting their menus and someone says they are serving stovetop and everyone piles on them...

Yes!

Once or twice a year, I eat a hot dog with chili sauce, shredded cheddar, and diced onion.
