Strikes a chord with me. Last time I flew I printed the boarding pass and the ticket agent told his coworker “oh you have a home made boarding pass”


I have a home made boarding pass for when their computer system goes down, or my phone runs out of battery. What do people do if their phone gets stolen? Miss their plane?


This is me, too. Maybe we're all just extra anxious. But I've been in those airport lines with a dying phone battery, and it's something I never want to experience again. Yeah, yeah, I should just remember to charge my phone, but it's actually easier to print the pass out a day before when I check in and am thinking about it, and it's as simple as hitting the print button.


I do this with train tickets for Europe, because I don’t trust internet coverage on the actual train.


PP you're responding too, and yep, i just printed out a London-Edinburgh train ticket.

I learned recently that Keke Palmer’s mom is in her late 50s. I’m in my early 50s. I have a 11 year-old.

Not only am I an older mom I am old enough to be my daughter’s grandmother. That smarts.

I a a doctor and my fellow co-intern’s son is in high school with my son. That was a shocker. In my mind the co-intern and I are still in out early 30s.
