I thought our interviewer at Grace was very warm and I appreciated that they had an open house that we could attend spring of 7th grade. At the end of the day I just couldn’t justify the cost, but I think Grace has the potential to be a really good high school. We didn’t have a great admissions experience with Friends. Their open house was awful and I thought their interviewer was a little cold. I called them once during the admissions process to ask a question and they were pretty unhelpful. They did have a great revisit day that included a program for the parents and we almost enrolled based on how positive the revisit was.

As an all boys we found that Browning had a very different vibe than Co-eds (thank you, captain obvious). You really need to know your kid and think about what their world is like outside of school. Nothing against Browning but we visited and felt like for our very smart but fairly shy kid (has lots of friends but it takes time to make them), it was not a good environment. But it is great that it is there for other kids for whom that might be less of an issue.
