Yup. They need to do an interview. These days, kids need more than just the STEM. They need the confident communication to back it up…


TJ blanks out students' names, ethnicity, etc., to make the application process more fair and free from bias. An interview process will eliminate that.

My DS got accepted with a 4.0 and incorrect PSE in a fairly competitive school.

There isn't a way. At best, you can ask your child what they wrote and apply your own judgement to how well they answered.

My APS kid has exact same stats and got in. Does anyone know when the preview day might be? Kid seems on the fence at the moment.
