There are lots of good names for boys in the top 15 that I never hear anymore. Christopher is cute. So is Andrew. And Ryan. Good names, still at the top of the lists, but everyone I know names their kids Jadyn or Brody. For girls I hear the top 10 over and over and it's revolting. The only name in the girls top 15 I can tolerate is Abigail/Abby. That's cute.
Gia is actually the shortened version/nickname for Giovanna. If you are Italian, I think that is a lovely name.

These are names that just bother my ears for some reason, I don't think less of people who use them.
I do get sick of hearing people talk about how they can't stand unusual spellings, only like "traditional" names because there seems to be this veiled classism in their critique.

Does that mean that I don't like your child named Ezra? Or that I don't like you for naming your son Ezra? Nope, I can still like you, and him, even if the name does nothing for me.
