VA Jrs 15 got a Liberty bid by finishing 3rd at 15 Liberty.
Paramount got some Open bids at Big South?
Paramount 17s got an Open bid with a 3rd place finish. I think Paramount 16s just missed an open bid - the Big South results in SportWrench show them as coming in 6th and show 2 teams that finished higher already having open bids. The Big South web page showed 3 bids available in 17 Open https://www.bigsouth.us/qualifier-information. If that’s correct, then bids would have rolled down to 5th place. But if Big South had one of the extra USAV provisional bids or their previously earned bids were not up to date, then Paramount 16s would have an open bid. Anyone know for sure?
Paramount 16 missed an Open bid by 2 points in the third set of their last match. Good luck to them this weekend in Kansas City!
Blue Ridge 16 won a USA bid at Big South. That means MVSA 16 will receive a Freedom bid?
Kudos to Blue Ridge 14, 15, and 16 for bringing three USA bids to the region this year!
Update:
Blue Ridge 14 has the "National" bid by winning the Chesapeake Regionals.
Blue Ridge 15 has the "National" bid by winning the Chesapeake Regionals.
Blue Ridge 16 has the "American" bid by winning the Chesapeake Regionals.

Does any of them get a bid?
I don’t think there are bids available for the club division. It’s not one of the divisions for the USAV Girls Junior National Championship tournament which requires all teams to earn a bid to enter. USAV introduced a new end of season tournament called the USA Volleyball Girls Junior Club Championship this year which does not require a bid to play. https://usavolleyball.org/event/2026-usa-volleyball-girls-junior-club-championship/ It is held separately from GJNC and replaces the Patriot division from the past few years (except for 18s who will still have a Patriot division).
So, what is the point of playing in a qualifier, where you cannot qualify even if you are the top team in the division? Does that explain why the CH teams dominated that division? Good teams didn't really care?
If a division offers bids to Nationals, teams from all over the country will compete in it. Bid divisions are often dominated by teams from strong volleyball regions such as NT (North Texas), LS (Lone Star), FL (Florida), etc.
For example, CH's best 13s teams (Paramount and Metro Travel) finished 7th and 9th respectively in 13 Open. The top 5 finishers are from:
1 NT
2 NT
3 NT
4 FL
5 FL
What you are saying is that they register for a weaker division so that they can bring home some hardware...
Not a weaker division—Open is the highest division—but a weaker qualifier.
My DD’s CH team lost to a Texas team in 15 USA at NEQ last weekend, while the Lone Star Qualifier was taking place in Houston at the same time. A Texas team chose Philly over Houston and finished in 3rd place.

There are lots of multi-day tournaments that aren’t qualifiers that are popular nevertheless. Think Cap Hill, Volley by the James, East Coast Championship in Pittsburgh, etc. Traveling to play in a 3-day tournament to play against teams from a wider geographic area can be a highlight for teams with little hope of earning a bid, and Philly would be a decent option for CHRVA teams since you don’t need to fly to get there. I understand there are folks on these forums that feel that teams like that should lower costs and stick to regional tournaments, but personally I think there is value in the experience, even if there are no bids at stake.

The Platform and MOCO teams had similar results: they won their first day pool, ended up second in their second day pool, won their challenge to go into the gold bracket, where they lost. With those results, you would think that their standings would be similar. But Platform ended up on the 9th place (along with other teams) and MOCO ended up on the 16th place all by itself. So - taking into account that similar trajectory through the tournament - why isn't MOCO among the teams on the 9th place ?
A mistake? MOCO is in gold, so it should be 9th.
There are quite a few CH teams in that division. What is your sense? Does this standing reflect the reality on the ground?
Blue Ridge 15 Orange = Platform 15 Black = MOCO Monsoon > Intensity 15 Onyx > Metro 15 North > MOJO Elite 15 Pink > MDJRS 15 Elite Yellow = Premier PEAK 15 > APEX 15 Evolution = Columbia 15 Red > The St. James 15 Navy > BAVA 15 Cyclones = ECEVBC 15 Typhoon = VA Volleyball 15-1 > MVA 15 Travel > BEVBC 15 Black > MDJRS 15 Open Yellow > X-Factor Volleyball 15-1 > Premier Crush
