The email itself doesn’t bother me. But it does hint to him being overwhelmed with the job and not giving two Fs anymore.

Nah, I think he's just being jokey. You gotta say something casual to lighten the mood after you say your "I'm gonna do what I think is right even if they fire me" thing.

My God. The Taylor apologists are capable of the most ridiculous mental gymnastics I've ever seen.

Dr. McKnight would have been nailed at the stake if she said this. But Taylor? Oh, he's just joking. Incredible.

You do understand that Communications Director Chris Cram is personally posting on this thread to make his boss look better.

Proof please?

(and no, I’m female, don’t work for the school district in any capacity and my name is not Chris, so don’t be an imbecile and say “hi Chris!”

This is the first time I've felt a slight sense of empathy for him. No one sane would want this job. The systems are too big, the problematic admins and their minions have wormed their tentacles in for 30+ years and no one superintendent can tease it all out, and a significant minority of the parents in this county are utterly vile.

I don't like him, but the perfect candidate isn't out there. Because again, nobody decent wants this job.

He is also a parent in the system isn't he. And don't talk about yourself like that.

Oh, grow up. 🙄

DP. I like it too and I voted for Harris, Biden and Obama twice (yes, really. Ask Jeff. I’ve been here for years and have been totally consistent).

Now wipe that egg off your face. It’s not a good look.

You realize you have a mental health disorder

One that is fact based. MCPS admin have already been caught posting anonymously.
It is a well known tactic of MCPS and other school systems.

By whom? In your dreams?

In various court documents when MCPS has been sued.

The good news is court documents are public record, so maybe provide, I don't know, three or four examples. From the court records.

Go for it. You know exactly when you have been caught and when it has been documented in court records and in the news.

No, toots. The burden of proof is on you. Court records are public documents. It shouldn't take you long to find some links.

I have nothing to do with MCPS. I just think you're a ridiculous Mad Mommy of MoCo who is perpetually Big Mad and maddening as a result.

If you have nothing to do with MCPS, what's your motive in attacking anonymous people who you feel are besmirching MCPS/Taylor? What are you gaining from it and why would you feel so compelled to develop derisive nicknames about MCPS detractors if you didn't have a stake in the system?

The behavior does not match up with the incentives here.

It's entertaining. You do realize these ridiculous threads clog up Recent Topics, right?

Uh huh. So you're bored and you troll MCPS, even though you have nothing to do with MCPS.

You might want to re-evaluate your life choices and priorities.

I'm still waiting on pp to provide links to court evidence, which is all public record. That was one hell of an accusation to level -- that people from MCPS are "caught" (whatever that means) posting anonymously. I'd like to see the evidence to back that claim up. I was assured it was readily available.

Correct. But the Taylor apologists are quick to claim Taylor is so smart and data-driven, which suggests they've truly been lobotomized, or have been indoctrinated into the Taylor worship cult along with the rest of the BOE.

It isn’t moving boundaries. Nice try, but wrong.

Actually it is. They are changing the boundaries so the kids go to Crown. It impacts very few kids compared to the rest of the MCPS.

Taylor’s email to the reader is printed below.

*****

This really means a lot. The data is what the data is – I can’t change it. Politicians who chest-thump is nothing new in Montgomery County. I work for politicians, but I am not one and I also don’t wobble when they fuss (this makes them uncomfortable). Been doing this a long time…what’s the worst that could happen? They fire me? …great! Maybe I’ll get a full night’s sleep for once. 🙂

In all seriousness, the state has no role in this, especially individual legislators. We’ll get through this. And yes – Magruder finally has a clear path! They will be in the next CIP…I just wish it didn’t take so dang long to get stuff done around here.

Again, thanks for reaching out. Onward…!

All my best,

Thomas

Oh, I like him now.
I didn’t really have an opinion of him before, but now...

How is it that all the I love Taylor posts haven't been able to name one thing they like about him except this one email?

The thing they like about him is that he is anti-looney, helicopter parents of MoCo. The people who love Taylor love the parents and students they're supposed to serve.

Fixed for you

Yes, because you, Essie and Taylor should be trusted with categorizing and classifying whose gripes and complaints are legitimate and valid.

I have no idea who Essie is and I only know of Taylor because he is my kids school district’s superintendent. But if they make you this deranged and crazy, I am happy to be listed among those legends.

See, this proves you are Taylor's brainless fan. You don't know his buddy group, nor what Essie did in the past and what she has been doing in the past year, you claim you just know he is MCPS superintendent, so everyone has to show allegiance to him.

According to gemini, "A "brainless fan" is a derogatory term for an individual with an intense, often irrational, and uncritical devotion to a celebrity, team, brand, or franchise. They are typically viewed as followers who refuse to acknowledge flaws, lack critical judgment, and blindly support their favorite entity regardless of evidence or logic." This precisely describes who you are.

This proves that you're really a deranged person.
