Unfortunately it does not. When I travel outside this area I'm amazed at how friendly and laid back people are. I can't wait to move. And I grew up here. The 80's were great but now it's so crowed, traffic gets worse every year and people are mean.

It is the right and generous thing to do, OP.

I think it's fair to say no as long as you're consistent and clear about your inability to host and follow through on that. You don’t do dinner parties, no summer BBQs, no Thanksgiving or kids Birthday parties, etc.
