Great school, great vibe. Something for everyone - athletes, Greeks, artists, pre-professionals, engineers, journalists…(please ignore the weird digs on this thread from uninformed moms). And if your DC wants a warmer climate, Duke is also awesome. Can’t go wrong with either school.

Best of luck to your DC!

Someone thinks it’s still 1995.

Someone’s kid didn’t get into Northwestern.

never applied, got into SCEA school.

Why are you here trashing a school your kid doesn’t attend? Abject boredom?

Exactly. I've noticed this pattern. I wonder if its the some pathetic bored mom.

This NW moms seem really nice and low key.

Stop trying to police any somewhat negative thing said about the school.

Since when is nerdy bad? Not everyone needs to be quarterback or wants to be, and fun is different for all. Not.everyone wants to do random.drunk hookups each weekend. Some prefer going out to good restaurants,.going to museums or events, or just staying in with friends, NW and Chicago seem ideal.for that. If it's Cornell in major city, why not take it over Cornell?

No one said it was bad, was simply responding to op’s question.
