Kudos to our custodial and maintenance crew who are putting in the real work this week.
(And kudos to all the teachers who are not getting paid to getting caught up but will still have at least 4 days to make up)
I thought teachers are getting paid on snow days. I know they are working anyway.
We don’t get paid on the added days when the school year inevitably gets extended because we were paid on the snow days.
What are teachers working on? The marking period ended Friday. Grades were supposed to be due Monday. Unless teachers are dragging it out they shouldn’t be working on these code red days.

Maybe instead of wasting time making shticky videos he could spend that time learning information to help him make thoughtful decisions and understand what the programs and staff in his school system actually do. Because the current plan seems to be to just learn a couple of bullet points and then haphazardly break things with a characteristically flippant attitude and then claim you didn't mean that or it was someone else's fault when it ends up actually being a problem. The stupidity with the autism programs and the PPWs is emblematic.
He can't be gone soon enough. The videos are corny and stupid and would be tolerable if he were a good superintendent but he's not.

He's attempting to mimic what he thinks are the mannerisms and speech of a Black rapper. It's embarrassing and insulting. But most people don't think it's that deep so they overlook it.

This is an offensive video. What about all the parents who are not getting paid because they cannot go to work because schools and daycare center that work out of the schools are closed. He gets paid and teachers get paid on snow days. What about the single mother who works as a nurses aide and does not get paid if she/he does not show up for work. This Dr. Taylor is the reason Montgomery County graduates are not prepared for jobs or college.
