What's happening in Minneapolis can happen anywhere. And the Republicans in Congress are just allowing it. The Supreme Court is allowing it. The entire powers in charge right now are allowing it.
They want this
Maybe the left could just let law enforcement do its job and stop confronting them and creating chaos and violent confrontations. If there's an argument to be made, make the argument in court. But of course, they want the violent confrontation and chaos, so it will continue. Hard to see how you conclude that "Republicans want civil war" because of this.
This only works if there is a balance of power and the people are able to hold law enforcement accountable. If we don’t, we get people acting like ICE does. As it stands we are just seeing the Stanford Prison Experiment play out.
If ICE wants to be respected, then they have to play by the rules. They need to tear it down and start again.

Wow, you do not sound like a true American. You should be deported!
Yeah whatever - according to you I'm not a "true American" because I say that someone who has an issue with law enforcement carrying out its duties should make a claim in court instead of sending mobs of people to confront and interfere with law enforcement and create chaos and violence, or violate the rights of other Americans to carry out their religious worship in peace. Sounds like you're the one who has an issue with being a true American.
Ok, start providing accountability.
We need to be able to identify abusive agents or agents that are breaking the law and then be able to pursue action.
As it stands you have fascists in charge telling anonymous kidnappers that they have complete immunity.
When law enforcement takes someone into custody, it is per se most certainly not "kidnapping" -- that's just inflammatory language of exactly the kind that is creating the tensions being complained about. But you know that.
Whatever cereal box you cut your law degree from called and it wants it back.
This is one of the stupidest things I've seen on DCUM.
Someone's stupid is showing. There may be "unlawful arrests" or "unlawful detention" but when law enforcement detains or arrests someone it is never "kidnapping." Any lawyer can tell you that.

There are only 52 million foreign-born people in the US.
Only 14 million of them lack documentation.
Who do you all suppose make up the difference in terms of who will be deported?

The fact that you’re even allowed to protest and riot and assault the police and federal officers and scream about how this is a fascist country is proof in and of itself that it’s not.
Because if it was an actual fascist country, all of you protesting in the street would simply be rounded up, executed, tossed in a mass grave, and that would be all there is to it. You would be too terrified to come outside your hiding places to begin with, if this were a fascist country.
Your ridiculous histrionics and hyperbole are not helping your credibility or the situation.
