Personally, not my cup of tea. Hate being stuck on a ship, and glorified, overcrowded theme park is the stuff of nightmares. I always wished them a good time, and listened to the stories of their good times when they returned. Being civil is not hard.
I would judge people going many times. Once or twice when kids are small - no big deal if that’s your thing

We’re a family of 5 and it’s $4000 for a 5 night cruise.
Really? Do you book through Disney cruise agent or yourself from their websites? We are a family of 4, and kids are 10 (boy that dont care about princess, but he has found toy story interesting ) & 7 (girl that love princess). What month are good to book to travel? We have never been on a cruise or disneyworld yet, and we are thinking to give Disney cruise a try.
I am using an agent and she helped find the best deal and answered all the same questions. I was undecided between a resort with childcare vs a cruise and she was so helpful. She helped me for years literally before I finally had the money to go!

The same way they pretend to prefer their beater car over a newer one with all the bells and whistles. Or they live in a less desirable neighborhood in a fixer upper next to the tollway because they prefer diversity. Ignore.
Oh dear. Honey no. “They’re just jealous” is the actual cope. They are going on far more expensive and better vacations than a Disney cruise. Promise.
That said, if you told me you were going on a Disney cruise, I’d say “oh, have so much fun!” and change the subject.
Idk PP, we spent $60K on a safari and did a Disney cruise 2 months later. Chartering a staffed catamaran in Croatia in 5 months for $75K and will head to Disney (FL) a few months after that.
Didn’t realize it was an either / or situation - we just take the vacations we want without thinking about what status it signals?

I am not a Disney person (in fact, I am actively avoiding taking my children to Disney World), but I have actually heard that Disney cruises are the absolute best of the large cruise lines, even for adults.
Disney is great, but Royal Caribbean’s newer ships are amazing, fun and endless entertainment.

I don't get this. It's really not a nightmare. Pay for all the extras and go at an off-peak time, and it's a really pleasant experience that the vast majority of kids enjoy greatly.
Lol, pay extra, jump through hops, and go at an inconvenient time... literally the stuff of nightmares
