I have a Dayton grad and it was a great experience. Not too big, not too small, school spirit (talk to alums, they all still have great school spirit). And great merit aid.
The drive is longer, but an easy drive. And from the DMV, it’s beautiful through western MD.
How’s Dayton for a non-Catholic/non-Christian kid? I know there are many at Jesuit schools, but I don’t know anything about Marianists.
Just answered my own question. There are 0 Jewish undergrads at Dayton.

We toured Elon and loved the school. Nice campus. Many kids from New England and Mid Atlantic states. Lots of international kids too.
Furman seemed very southern. Most kids were from within a 2-3 hour drive. Campus also being isolated from the town was different. Nice campus, but he did not like how it was fenced in…
