Fingers crossed.
No chance!
I was one of the people calling for a delay. Don’t think we’ll get a closure. The issue is kids out before it’s light out and ice…
There will be ice 2 hours later. What does a delay get you?

Daylight for the high schoolers at the icy bus stop.

Yes, there is a chance. The email sent to staff says they will reevaluate at 7 am. They did not include that in the email to parents.
Why would you have your fingers crossed this? It seems like a dumb way to waste a snow day.

What is wrong with you?
Up county they are not fine!
And refreezing is a thing.
People like you should not have kids.
I'm upcounty. They've been fine all day.
How do you expect snow to melt and refreeze overnight?
So many people in MCPS don't even have an elementary-school level of understanding of science.

This was the right call. As the parent of a new driver I am glad we don’t have to worry about this in the morning. Thanks for the early announcement Taylor!
You know the roads are fine, though, don't you? The only difference will be light. Are you going to demand delays until the days get longer?
If the snowmelts and freezes you get black ice. Kids leave early for hs.
