The issue is that since most people send love letters too, not sending one then signals that not only are they not top, they’re not even close to the top.

I emailed my FCL and Love letters. Essentially you can skip Love letters, but that means you’re putting all your eggs in one basket. And just because you send a FCL it doesn’t mean that school will accept you.
