I don’t love that he won’t make the trek over to Arlington and expects me to go to DC. What would you do?
R but OP, I knew someone like this. He eventually arrived to my house on a bicycle. He had lost his driver's license due to DUIs. Possible here?Anonymous wrote:Man, this thread is like LateNightShots back in the day.
FWIW, I married my wife because we both wanted to live in the city. First date at old Buffalo Billiards in Dupont.
If you want to live in Burbs, search there.

Plenty. But the issue isn’t so much a car (because Uber exists) but OP’s apparent refusal to get on the metro. That’s pretty much a nonstarter for me.
Must be nice being so cavalier about women's safety.

I would not want to drive to DC on a rainy day and do street parking. I mean if he really wanted to see you he could just Uber midway.
Just unmatch.
This isn't a rule. Treat anyone you have just met with respect and like a friend, which in the case to me means having a friendly conversation to find out what works best for the both of you, instead of being strident. No point in expecting a man you don't know to woo you.

“So Foggy Bottom is still too far for from Fairfax for me. Arlington would work better as it’s the mid point for both of us distance wise. If Arlington works for you I’m happy to meet, if not we can always connect another time.”
