Wrong or they would have seated the House Rep.
It's been 15 days why is she not seated? We know why she is the vote that gets the files released.
You have to be a dummy to not understand this. If Trump wasn't in it why have they not released them? Explain why?

You are not out of work because of that.
You are out of work because Republicans do not want to release the Epstein files and they do not want to seat new congress people.
Republicans could open it anytime they have the majority
Read Project 2025. Vought wants to keep the government closed as long as possible. Not releasing the Epstein files and seating new representatives is a bonus for them.
The house passed a short term "clean" CR that would result in added pressure to release the Epstein files and seat the new representative and it is the Dems who want more than that. The Dems could reopen the government for 4 weeks by voting with the GOP. I am not saying they should, but simply that they could. If the GOP really wanted to keep the government closed, they would force votes on individual appropriation bills like they call for when they are in the minority.
DP - the House passed something they knew the Senate Democrats would never support. Mike Johnson is apparently willing to be the fall guy for this sh*tstain of an administration, so this is where we are. I don’t know how much Senate Republicans are willing to go along indefinitely, but as long as they do, this is where we’ll stay.
Why wouldn't the Ds vote for the exact same budget they voted for a dozen times?

Even if the house votes to release the files, the DOJ is not going to comply.
