I know politics and polarization have made everything harder and I don't want a school to have to be political, but it does have to have values and purpose. How are there parents who are surprised no statement was made about Charlie Kirk when the schools are covered with rainbow symbols and Charlie Kirk was full of judgement and hate? How can a school with rainbow symbols everywhere have a culture that is so unwelcoming to trans or nonbinary kids? The stories shared at Shrinemont - how can the admin just ignore ignore ignore and still claim to value each child as a child of god?
Really? Are you still that ignorant?

THIS. This is what is happening at the school. This is the source of the strife. The MAGA families are angry because education is filled with empathy, diversity, and an accurate telling of history. Education is anti fascist by nature. They have literally everything they could ever want but they can’t push education spaces to their wacko ideology. They also can’t comprehend that “liberal” families can actually pay the tuition and donate to the school.

Does it here because if they wrote it anywhere else, they’d be called out. Just go away. You’ve repeatedly been called out for factual inaccuracies and seem really deranged. Just go away.
There is more than one poster here and no one is deranged. They just have different opinions than you and are having a different experience at the school. The school needs to stay in the middle, moderate area to continue to attract families and thrive. No one said the upper school had uniforms before! It sounded like they just want all campuses to have uniforms. I would agree with this. The kids look like crap most days. I feel bad for the girl moms who are constantly fighting with their daughters about their clothes and outfits and how low cut, short things are that has to be brutal. There are many people at the school who are not Episcopal and don’t know anything about the Episcopal Church, including me. I am republican, jewish, conservative with a kid at the school.

I attended, beginning in 1980, and the US never had uniforms.
