Exactly. Republicans have both the senate and the house. They can pass anything they want without any dem votes. Dems have no control. If Rs don’t pass a CR that’s on them.
Unless it is a CR, the Senate needs 60 votes.

I wish the GOP would be blamed but I really don't think that's the case. Yes, the GOP controls all of Congress and the White House but they also totally own the media platforms and will be shouting from the rooftops how the Dems are to blame because they blocked the bill. As much as I would like the Dems to push back, I don't think they win anything with the general public if they do. Who knows how long this shutdown would last and Trump and his minions certainly won't care.
