As a man I can tell you the answer. It’s other men who act in a way that forces you to act strong and aggressive just so that you do not stand out as a victim and get assaulted. Men have to be tough in front of aggressive men or else they become victims. This leads to this exponential increase in toxic masculinity.

Men are definitely the cause of toxic masculinity. Red pill theorem and patriarchy hurt men just as much as women.
Doesn't exist.
Otherwise "toxic femininity" exists as well?

If you need a podcast to learn about being an alpha/gladiator/lion, then you de facto are not one.
lol

Yup, because when I see guys who are way onto body building, I NEVER think they’re compensating for other short-comings…..

What's behind this?

Fail troll. 1/10Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:It's a thing for my teen and their friends. They are super into Alpha Male, hypermasculinity. He keeps talking about having a masculine job, whatever that is. There is some good - he wants to learn how to change the oil in our cars, and watches many Youtube videos for DIY fixes for various things. It's almost like they view their white collar fathers as soft.
Definitely a thing. Especially if they have overbearing helicopter moms who brow beat them and everyone. Smothers, hen-pecking nags, etc.
Boys with more laid back moms and traditional dads tend to become more easy going masculine types who aren't plagued with anxiety and don't act like weak submissives.
I think it's more of a cultural shift, less about specific family dymanics, as my teens' friends come from a variety of family compositions. The current generation of Gen X and Older Millennial dads are viewed as softer and less traditionally masculine than our grandfathers' generation. Teen boys aren't about abusing women (hardly, they seem whipped by their girlfriends). It's more than they feel like they are victims of DEI policies. Even the boys with moderate or liberal parents are into the MAGA Trump movement - when Trump took a bullet, they all loved him even more. They think they are an oppressed group of privileged white boys who need to take back their power.
In some ways white boys are actually being oppressed. Why not acknowledge that reality?

We do, they’re called gangs of DC. Someone gets killed every night.
Try again Ohio has a worse murder rate so does Alabama
Maga cult of dummies
