Frumin has been a disaster for Ward 3. An existential threat.

If you think a higher income tax on W3 households earning more than $250,000 is an existential threat, you’re crazy. (Speaking as a member of a W3 household that earns more than that.) Why would this be so terrible, exactly?

To the "statistics" posters, how do you draw conclusions from the statistics? Are they reflections of the causes? Or the effects?

Assuming that Black people are the cause of the problem is racist. I know that you don't have any proof of causation.

Does that help?

DC needs to catch up to Montgomery. Stop complaining and pay your fair share.

Guess where Grok gets its info from, bozo? The stats are correct, but difficult for you to come to grips with. 40% of DC blacks on SNAP, 97.5% of welfare in DC goes to blacks, 96% of murders in DC committed by blacks, 93% of violent crime is committed by blacks. This group contributes relatively little economically and takes up a wildly disproportionate amount of taxpayer dollars. If they keep raising taxes, productive citizens will just leave and the blacks that have spent generations taking advantage of the system wiil be sol.

Grok is not an appropriate site to source statistics from. Government sites are. Maybe Think Tanks, newspapers. Heck, even a blogger works. But your grok statistics were wrong, you're coming across as a 13 year old white supremacist, and you didn't make any valid points because you didn't actually present any arguments well.

"The point is that the racist poster was making up statistics out of thin air and had no valid point."

=> their facts were all sourced from grok. check it out for yourself. Point was the whiter the city becomes through gentrification = a more vibrant, higher qol city. But this city does its best to retain its least productive, most dangerous citizens through endless handouts. Imagine a company that sought to keep the very worst 20% of performers at the expense of losing its top 20% performers. That's DC.

Oh stop. We have very high income taxes. We have very high property taxes. We have very high sales taxes. We have fees out the wazoo. Even the DC government says DC has the highest taxes in the country on a per capita basis.

It costs 25% more to do home renovations in DC because contractors get their tools stolen all the time. Many unofficial taxes in DC.

+1. The fact of the matter is “the blacks” versus “the whites” or whatever else language is chosen is irrelevant to the topic when the statistics being presented are accurate. Unfortunately, DC politics and racial discrepancies in government assistance are directly intertwined.

+1, they can afford to pay more. Hope DC raises those rates. This is what they voted for.

Right? "the blacks" just has a lot of Nazi energy from this poster.
