However for those who have no pre-existing health conditions & just use surrogacy as an “easy” way out of ruining their figure or going through the pain of childbirth (like Paris Hilton,) then I think in these cases it is unnecessary.
But what about people who want to use surrogacy simply to buy a child?
What if they plan to use the child for slavery?
Or later sell the child for profit?
Or harvest its organs (as appears to be the case OP brought up).

“A Southern California couple has been charged with child endangerment and neglect after more than 20 children were removed from their home in Arcadia, most of whom were born to surrogate mothers, according to police.
The children ranged in age from two-months to 13-years-old, but most were between one-year and three-years-old, the Arcadia Police Department said.”

I saw the headline but didn't have time to read the article this morning but thought it made no sense, how would someone have 20 surrogate babies? I thought they were some go-between but why would people having children that way not get the child right away?
It's still nuts after reading it.

This situation is terrible, but should not make us fear surrogacy. It should make us regulate that activity so that it's safer for all involved.
Surrogacy is absolutely bad. Come on. We don’t allow newborn puppies to be torn from their mothers because we know it’s cruel. But we do it to babies.
Are we outlawing adoption too?
Adoption is regulated.
It’s regulated at the state level

Seriously this is not a thing.
What is a thing is sex trafficking of children by border agents on Texas! Yeah republicans!
What is a thing is church members abusing children who again are Republicans and both are facts!
