Some 40% of CMC grads are econ majors vs. up to 12% of Williams majors. So of course CMC porportionally has better placement for Wall Street. But the average econ/finance person is more likely to land a top job from Williams than from CMC.

As someone with an interest in philosophy, I would have been grateful to have heard of this program at a time during which I would have been eligible for it. I wouldn't have quibbled as to where I learned of it. In any case, at the center of this topic is a student interested in philosophy, and this student can attend Amherst or CMC and still attend Hamilton's summer program.
