But try to look at immigration seriously for a moment. what do you want the US policy to be?
Are you saying that the laws should be enforced but there should be exceptions for extreme medical needs of minors?
Or are you saying that the border should be open to all and no enforcement?

No. She was kept alive in Mexico but was not well enough to leave the hospital with the treatment received in hospital. In the US, she was able to be discharged home.

This was my question too. I don't understand why the Mexican health care system can't handle this.
A lot of people in Canada go to Mexico for health care when the Canadian health care system gives them a long wait time.

Perhaps, if our government had first focused on healthcare, jobs and education for our own citizens we wouldn't have Trump in office today. Perhaps, voters would be more sympathetic. Instead, each one of these stories is a reminder of the resources flowing to non-citizens. It's a net sum game for many voters at this point. They are seeing non-citizens receive services that they are unable to access for themselves. This is something that the liberal elite do not understand and why they will continue to lose elections. It's easy to be sanctimonious when your own kids are in private schools, your health care is affordable and your white collar job is secure.
Please stop with this nonsense! Trump has made $1 BILLION every month he’s been in office in 2025 because of his grifting. He has more billionaires in his cabinet than any predecessor and tons of people in his admin have made tens of millions in the market manipulation (where Dems lost money). So spare me. MAGA and the GOP are the party of elites and you know it.
so what do you think the US immigration policy should be?

So the MAGA ghouls in this thread are going to end up out-Trumping Trump. Surprising that a few here are so interested in condemning a 4-year old to death.
