I can see this happening. If Vance can build enough support behind the scenes it's a possibility. I say that because Trump is playing with fire with the economy and that seems to be the red line. I don't think Trump will be able to resist going after Jerome Powell for the next 3.5 years.

Vance can continue all the right wing fascist culture war stuff, but also return to more traditional Republican make the rich richer policies.

I think the above is unlikely, but if the die hard MAGA numbers start to tank that's blood in the water.

The population does not process Trump's personality and decline like it did Biden's. Trump is very brazen, very combative, and a lot of voters see that as a sign of strength. They shouldn't, but they do...

The reason Biden was pushed out is that he mumbled and looked super frail and lost during the debate. Trump appears very sure of himself even when saying "I don't know" and not answering questions correctly and getting stuff wrong.

Voters aren't as discerning as some posters think they are. A lot of them just respond to immature perceptions of bravado. Such moments are when you realize that an IQ of a 100 is the average. Half the voters are below.

Maybe we should’ve been doing the opposite of lowering educational standards like graduating kids who can’t read.

Ah yes: “social promotion.” That is another Democrat-creation.

Biden did exactly ZERO to stop that practice.

What would you have had him do? I thought you people LIKED having “states rights” and local school board control.
Now you want the POTUS to tell your Trey or Nectarine that they can’t graduate without actual skills?

Your post is so blatantly racist I’m not sure where to begin.

^and at least Biden managed to finish his term without all the chaos and drama and dysfunction that Trump has been bringing.

So you think keeping Biden in office while mentally impaired was also a good idea?

You must have short term memory loss or be blocking stuff out.

Biden didn’t leave office when he became physically and mentally impaired, he finished his term.

He had to be forced to end his campaign for the next election. Forced. He and his family fought tooth and nail and claw to keep him in the running.

The democrats have a very high level of denial concerning Biden. The debate was a disaster for Biden and democrats. In real time they were panicking. But a few hours later, the excuses began. He had a cold, he was jet lagged, he was tired.

Democrats think they control every situation and narrative just by posting some nonsense. It’s part of the reason Trump has won twice/three times.

NP, Biden is gone, so he's not the issue. But now we have Trump in office, who is showing clear signs of mental impairment.

Vance has as much chance of being Trump's successor as Pence did and as Harris did of being Biden's successor and that chance is 0%.

Harris was Biden’s successor!

According to you, though, she was not? Dare we ask for an explanation?

Trump succeeded Biden by winning the 2024 POTUS election. Try to keep up.

Only because Elon used Star Link to hack the polling booths, keep up yourself.

You sound as pathetic and ignorant as the MAGA idiots did with their stolen election claims in 2020.

Don't write it off as fake news. It just can't be proven until someone squeals. You know that's the truth.

Election denier! Election denier!

Ask an actuary because he’s not leaving unless it’s feet first.

What a day that will be.

Both sides will celebrate. He'll then be the unity president.
