The smell of diesel fumes is not refreshing at the schools.

There is a dispensary on D Street NW between two schools (BASIS and Templeton Academy), about a block from the FBI HQ. That should tell you all you need to know. DC does not care and has no plans to enforce anything.

People smoke openly at Navy Archives every single day, including when kids are walking to and from school. How is this okay?

Please. It's gross. Just as gross at cigarettes.

+1

And strange that people conflate weed use with “diversity”. Do you really imagine that people of color want weed smoke permeating their neighborhoods? Want their children smelling marijuana all over the place? Find it so interesting the covert racism of white paper who think that brown and black people are cool with drugs in their neighborhoods.

That said, it’s a trade off. I also don’t want people doing jail time for weed use if they’re not drug dealers. This disproportionately hurts black and brown people too.

Let’s be honest the ailment that is most “medicated” by weed is sloth.

The portion of DC that can "smell that incredible stench" is like 2% of the city, and none of the condos there are close to a million dollars.

There's rats in the alleys. I would never walk down them.

All the alleys in DC stink bad. Must be the trash cans and dumpsters. I refuse to cut through an alley to go from one block to another. The City needs to clean up their alleys. They stink bad.

DC Council: “We all need to work together to dismantle systemic racism and close the achievement gap.”

DC Council: “Also, we are going to change the law to legalize marijuana at UDC.”

Ok….

That's what freedom smells like. It's also one of the few remaining freedoms DC residents have under Dump. Don't like it? Leave.
