Now that we have body worn cameras that show that police shootings almost always involve dangerous criminals, they need a new approach to justify their world view that police are racist. So evidently we need detailed biographical information on officers, because even if the body cameras and eyewitnesses prove the officers did nothing wrong, we should indict the officers just based purely on the fact that they're white. It's all very stupid and tiresome, and unfortunately antics and idiocy like this are why we have Trump as president and why too many people are happy to see the death of DEI initiatives.
It would be nice if the BLM activists actually focused their attention on black-on-black civilian shootings, and how that devastation might be mitigated, but the activists just don't care about that crime. They've truly lost all credibility and really, they're just jokes at this point.
+1000. Aren't black folks pissed off at the BLM activists at this point?

The witnesses were quite off, as the criminal was 44 years old.
Were the cops Black or white?
Who cares, they deserve awards for their courage in what sounds like an extremely dangerous situation where innocent people had already been injured and there was a serious threat to lots more people, including the officers.

I care. A lot.
I want to know everything about these cops. How long have they been cops? What’s in their personnel files? Where do they live? Do they moonlight or take security work when off duty? And yes, I want to know if they’re white. All this matters.
+1. I'd also like to know what their hobbies are, whether they're gay or straight or something else, how many kids they have, what they consider to be their most important achievement in life, how they handle interpersonal conflicts with colleagues, what their religion is, what their salaries are, what their favorite color is, and what their favorite foods are. All this matters.
Mostly I just want to know if they’re white.

News reports indicate that they were 18 and 13 year veterans of the department. From the names reported, I would not presume they are white.

And if they are?
What if they were Hispanic? Or Asian?
