The program may not be folding but all of the decent players are leaving to play elsewhere because they're done with the BS. It's safe to assume WLC teams will all drop in the rankings next season compared to previous years.
That doesn't really explain why there were 50% more kids at WLC's tryouts this week then TM's.

TM uses Montgomery rinks as home rinks so it makes sense they have a higher player count. With a nice rink and an inside the beltway location STJ and WLC would have be able to pull together a team comparable in the next couple of years, IMO.
