There is no “legal” concern. WTF?

lol did you even read your own link (spoiler no you didn't)
Public schools may not celebrate or observe holidays as religious events, nor may schools promote or disparage such celebration or observance by students. Students may observe or otherwise recognize religious holidays to the same extent that they may engage in comparable nonreligious activities.
You need to work on your reading comprehension. These events are being organized by individuals, not the school. They aren't school events.

We have laws in place for a reason.
If a school community wanted to ban children of one religion from attending that school, they could not do that.
Schools should not be promoting any religion. There are good reasons for this. One of which is to avoid creating an environment where any child is excluded.
Again, we have laws in place for a reason. We have a court system in place for a reason. Individuals within one community do not get to make these types of decisions for themselves.

People in APS don’t say “district”.
External agitators can go F themselves.
Yes we do. It's referring to the school district not DC. You can ask Jeff, I have identified as an APS employee and parent on this board for years
The teachers and families who have coordinated these events (Christian, Jewish, Muslim) have done tons to support the DHMS community.
Go sht on your own community. Leave ours alone.
I’m another APS parent and I won’t keep quiet if religious events are being hosted by an APS school. This isn’t a choice that any one school community gets to make for itself.

It’s our district. If it’s allowed to happen at one school it could happen at any of them
