This was an invite only session and after the session the coaches told the 5 girls who they were not considering to “leave, just go” and everyone watched them walk off the field. These coaches have no business coaching kids. And if you’re wondering if my kid was one told to “leave, just go”, no. My kid was invited back but after seeing that and also having some very questionable things said to her by the coaches during the session, she will absolutely not be going back again.

Stop. I've watched more than one match and the "strategy" is to boot it long to the right wing and hope she could out run the girl marking her and corral the ball.
In case you were wondering, she could not effectively do either. And yes, this is an ECNL team.

Arlington is FAR better
Vda has way better coaching. Arlington has better educated parents.
Kickball or rugby coaches yes. Soccer coaches no.
Arlington has the better staff / technical play.

College coaches want to remain employed and they can only do that if they can identify and recruit the best talent—like any good company. ECNL is their deepest talent pool.
Not sure if this is coming from an Arlington parent, but 2011's aside, what Arl team do you consider to be "cream of the crop" or "a deep talent pool"? Most of us noticed the 10-0 drubbing you took at the hands of Bethesda a few weeks back.
Agreed! Vast majority of ARL teams are mediocre at best.

Not if your kid wants to play in college.
