Our coach told us that the MLS New Tier league will not launch in 2025.
Teams will be branded as "MLS NEXT New Tier" but will play in existing leagues for the upcoming season - NAL/NPL etc.
This isn’t really true. Our U13 MLS next 2 team is going to be playing in this specific league.
Anonymous wrote:Why are people so triggered by MLS next getting the chance to feel a second team? All sorts of clubs have A, B and C teams in EDP, had them in ECNL and pre ECNL and our regional league and more, and at the NAL level.
My kid is going to play MLSNext team 2 and he is thrilled. The meanest bully at his current club is leaving to play NAL elsewhere and has been teasing and ribbing my kid about his future plans and my kid came to the realization that at his new club NAL is the third team so he won’t be playing against this nasty bully and basically has him in check. MLSnext 2 is a great option for kids who have outgrown EDP or their current club and only had B team options elsewhere like us.
If your kid didn’t make it or you don’t want to travel that’s fine. But quit throwing a public tantrum!!

It is a B teams league with not so offending name.

So just a lateral move, ECRL to MLS2. Probably made the move because ECRL North Atlantic and Northeast South have weird overlaps so forces too much unnecessary travel for a regional league. They weren't even in the same ECRL league as Celtic and Pipeline.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Coppermine 2013 will destroy all those B teams in MLSN2. They belong in the top tier of MLSN.
Agreed
MLS Next II account the clubs that are in it. Each club has different level of teams. So Coppermine probably already has a team in MLS Next and this is their next lower team in MLS Next II.
ECNL to MLSN2 is lateral
Yes, and ECNL for boys is just not the place to be. Any MLSN team is a better option, same applies to MLNSII.
It’s called MLSNext. Please keep the 4 letter acronym for the dumpster fire ECNL.
So MLSN2 or MLSNII? And is Liverpool in MLSN3 or MLSN III?
What's kinda funny is that MLSN has not even released what they are calling their new league. The clubs that got it don't even know lol! That's why you see a bunch of clubs that only have MLSN2 advertising that they are having tryouts for "MLSNext!". Such a bizarre and half-assed way to release something. It makes me think they weren't quite ready and just released this to get it out prior to tryouts.

Lmao and look at the teams VRSC LOUDOUN SOCCER TSJ… you’re asked to drop 4K to play the same shitty teams that you play in spring’s NCSL.
