DS got accepted by Browning and UNIS. I understand these two schools are very different. Any advices ? We are concerned that UNIS has not very rigorous program and thus not good college prospect, but how about browning ?
Also we are waitlisted for HM but really unclear where we sits as they are very vague about how the WL moves.
Thanks !
Unis accepts anyone who can pay full can always go back there if Browning is not a good fit

Was there a recent scandal??
Just found this - seems was from last year: https://nypost.com/2024/05/26/us-news/nyc-teacher-at-posh-dalton-school-resigns-amid-accusations-by-former-student-of-sex-abuse/
And this, where they sent the largest contingent of any school: https://nypost.com/2024/12/14/us-news/prestigious-private-school-diversity-conference-devolved-into-festival-of-jew-hate-outraged-attendees/
And this, not saying it’s as bad, but they literally can’t keep themselves out of the news: https://nypost.com/2024/08/17/us-news/greedy-posh-nyc-school-director-husband-evicted-for-writing-off-rent-stabilized-tribeca-pad/

Browning is an excellent single-sex K-12 program. They are highly focused and experienced in that vertical.
I don’t know much about UNIS other than it’s co-ed - I would be focused on those differences and see what you think makes more sense for DS. Spend some time on Browning’s website today going through their educational philosophy.

Do they hint anything on the waitlist letter? Something like High Priority or anything else?
Trinity Wl unlikely to move because they give more offers than enrollment. HM has high priority wl. Riverdale also seems to waitlist everyone. If you are high priority list for those two that’s better chance.
