I was hired for 100% remote position and unless my agency assures me that I will continue working remote (slim chance) I am taking the offer. I never worked 5x a week in person, except for very briefly after college. Plenty of hybrid options out there.

There is no legal guarantee that you will be paid. No congressionally funded budget for it. Imagine a 25 year old paralegal taking this deal only to realize they are unemployed, without severance and now required to work according to the email but not be paid.

Better and safer to ignore this nonsense.


If this administration is going to make people work without paying them, why would that only happen to people who did the deferred resignation?
