UVA has already filled 1,282 spots in the ED round. That leaves 2,688 spots for the EA and RD round combined. The yield is much higher for in state kids.

I have worked in admissions in other contexts, not UVA. But simply put, the females are more qualified. Period.

I think that's the goal for the entire freshman class.

I wish UVA would get rid of ED. Other top publics do not have a binding admission round (UCs, Michigan, UNC).
