Weird. I was under the impression that it came from China and was a global pandemic.

The maga movement has only been gaining more traction. Their ability to deflect and make excuses is astonishing. I think maybe we need this period of letting the GOP control it all. Starting tomorrow, there is nobody to blame, nobody to deflect to. We are going to hit rock bottom, and I think that’s the only hope we have that enough people will face the reality of where the GOP priorities truly lie.
So... how about we focus on finding a real presidential nominee that will squash anything MAGA has to offer and we'll together put the disastrous Trump/Biden years behind us? Do you want to be part of the solution or part of the whiny partisan crowd?
Newsome/whitmer ticket. But won’t happen because they’re both white.
Not going to happen because the fires have killed Newsom’s political standing and capital.
Newsom being a Californian politician eliminated his chances at becoming POTUS in the near future long before LA was on fire.
The bar isn't very high these days....you know with a convicted felon being president. I think Newsome is a gigantic step up from dumpy.

Folks know what’s coming but don’t want to admit it and I have this out in the bottom of my stomach of just how crazy the next 4 years are going to be. With news that deportation raids will start on Tuesday and the distraction that is the TikTok ban, it feels like we’re just passively moving into oligarchy. Where are the pussyhats of 2017? Where is the resistance? I’m truly truly scared for what is about to come our way…

If the dems want to win, they’re not going to run the governor of California. They need to run a moderate.
Is newsom not moderate? He’s not a woke progressive and that’s what matters.
Besides, DJT is at extremist as they come. I don’t think voters are necessarily looking for moderate. Or that they even vote for what they say they’re looking for. In the end, someone who can win the information war is who wins the election. And I have a feeling newsom can fight dirty.

I’m OP. I’m a moderate. I’ve noted for both Rs and Ds in my life. I’d be perfectly happy with a Romney type candidate and quite liked Hogan. I’m terrified of the next 4 years.
I bet you were optimistic on Biden’s inauguration thinking he would be the candidate of moderation and a return to sanity. You were wrong then and you’re wrong now to be terrified.
You voted in a lying, cheating, self serving felon and rapist. No one cares what you think....you don't seem to realize how stupid everyone thinks you are for this. Your orange god does not care about any of you he ran to keep himself out of prison.
Unhinged rants don’t add to this discussion.
nor does yours but we listened to your stupidity for years "not my president" Get over yourself hypocrite. And yeah your guy is a criminal-good job

Anonymous wrote:In his first term, Trump made a lot of noise but in the end did nothing except pass a tax cut for the rich and blow up deficits, which is what Republicans always do. Every day is drama with Trump, but when it comes to legislation, there's not much there. And given the make-up of the House, Republicans can't pass anything substantial without Democratic votes. It'll be a noisy four years, but I don't expect much, particularly after Democrats take the House back in two years.
