I wrote the Tom Petty lyrics. I don’t think she will necessarily lose popularity, but you do have to wonder how many more people there are out there to convert to her fan base. She doesn’t appeal to everyone, just like the perfect “good girl” in Tom Petty’s song didn’t appeal to him. At a certain point, she will run out of places to expand. She can still make money off of her current fan base and run circles around everyone else, but recruiting a huge segment of new listeners/fans will require her to distort her “good girl” image in a way that would be damaging to her.

She doesn’t need to expand her base. She can go deeper with her existing fans and offer more products…

I would not say she's "middle aged", but she's getting a little too mature for the mystery boyfriend schtick that has defined her career. She has three to four years before she ages out of the glittery bodysuit and boots. That will look ridiculous when she's 40.

She will also lose a lot of the angsty Millenial fan base if she gets married. It's dumb for a married woman to sing songs about her mystery boyfriend of the month.

She is stuck in girlhood and needs to come up with a plan to grow into maturity. I’m not sure she and her parents have one. Didn’t she say pop stars were washed up at 35? Typically, maturity comes with a sense of responsibility toward society and others. Maybe she will come up with a foundation to help young girls and women to express her creativity.

Wow, this really seems to bother you. Not to worry. She is a billionaire and doesn't *need* a new fan base. That said, she'll always have a huge fan base, whether they're new or old. She could do nothing at all for the rest of her life and still be a billionaire - but of course, she's too creative for that to happen.

I really liked her two COVID albums and plenty of her singles prior to that. Finally got around to listening to Tortured Poets last night and it was decidedly meh - very derivative of her prior work. I think it did show some interesting evolution of her themes on being a famous woman (especially Clara Bow) but the rest was frankly pretty boring. Hoping for something more inspired for her next one.

In the NFL penalties like holds, pass interference, and roughing the passer swing games.

Of course not, money is. The NFL can still expand its fan base chiefly among women. Taylor is the perfect vehicle to help them do that, so they keep the chiefs rolling along in the off season to increase viewership among that segment of population. They are hoping to get enough women “hooked.”

Face it they also need women to like the sport and encourage their sons to play because soccer is much much more popular among kids now.

For the NFL it is about money and the future Taylor is a quick way to help them to their end game.
