The reason for a delay/closure would not have anything to do with the snow that fell today. It would be about the low temperatures.


Yes but if they didn’t try to clean up the sidewalks it would be a dangerous mess.

Why do so many of you constantly wish for school closures? Haven't we had enough of them? My kids are sick and tired of this. They especially hate that their activities keep getting canceled.

At 8am this morning, ALL indications were that snow was going to begin at 1pm. As with weather, things change at the last minute. No one controls that.

Actually it is. The county is pretty big. You have custodians that are traveling to the school. They don’t live around the corner. Families who are using the facilities need time to make plans.

Basically if they can’t get the buses started. There could also be 2 hour delays instead.
