I took it as Netflix trying to push their brand.

This is the 1st year they had live streaming for sporting events and by having a big ticket 1/2 time show on Christmas was huge.

That's why Shaboozey and Post Malone were there. Otherwise a lot of younger people would have walked away during the half time show because they don't care about Beyonce.
