He’s in Moscow. His wife is a British citizen by birth but they’re obviously persona non grata there.
Wow she is accomplished and beautiful. Wonder if she regrets the life she gave up for… whatever is coming
“ Assad graduated from King's College London in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in computer science and French literature. She had a career in investment banking and was planning to begin an MBA at Harvard University when she married Bashar al-Assad in December 2000. She resigned from her job in investment banking following the wedding and remained in Syria, where their three children were born. ”
Meh, she chose poorly. She literally married a brutal dictator who had people tortured. She knew all about it. Her morals are awful. Now she’ll live under house arrest in Moscow unless Putin decides to give them up for something in return. She now literally a pawn, to be trader or sacrificed as Putin sees fit.
I bet it feels awful to feel so powerless.

Obviously the US Gov wanted to get rid of Assad and his Russian and Iranian backers.
Turkey was also backing HTS.
Will country remain divided between HTS controlled and SDF (US backed Kurdish) controlled?
What is next? Does the US have a plan to overthrow Iran regime too? Putin?
