This is not going to bother anyone and he’s not going to apologize to anyone.
You are so wrong. He will not apologize. Guaranteed.
I'm not sure he needs to. What would he be apologizing for? Throwing the slur back at the guy? Big deal.
Apologize not because he needs to but to be a bigger person and show that he knows there are better ways he could have handled the assailant.

I agree he will apologize b/c he's a good guy. He had enough and I don't blame him for slamming the guys phone. This family has been VERY patient with so many boundaries that have been crossed by "fans".

I can’t stand how normalized this anti-social, trashy behavior has become. Good for Kelce for smashing this little punk’s phone.
Who can spot the internal inconsistency here?
I can’t. Please explain.

The two words do not hold the same significance. You know that.

It's hate speech and it's also at least criminal battery for stealing the phone. A new phone isn't five bucks, they're over $1,000. What happens when you're robbed of $1,000 riding the Metro? The perp gets arrested.

Except the college kid uses the hate speech first so your argument is baseless.
The student didn’t steal anyone’s phone and smash it. That’s the crime.
Fine, but stop using “hate speech” as some sort of criminal act.
It was hate speech. He was using a gay epithet to intimidate and emasculate the boy while robbing the boy of his phone.

Victim blaming
The victim is blameworthy here. I hope you’re not teaching your kids to behave like this victim. Acting like this is how you get your ass kicked.
You think that kelce was going to get his ass kicked from that kid? Loolllolooolloooollooo!
No, the kid is lucky kelce didn’t kick his ass. He does this in the high school hallway to the non celebrity giant football player, he gets punched. And then his parents wonder why no one cares their kid got punched.
No, you clearly said to teach one’s kids to not behave like the victim (kelce) or else they will possibly get their ass kicked.

I’m disappointed, I really thought he was the smart brother. I’m expecting an apology but wondering how much this may hurt his brand. Also curious if there will be any pressure from the swift camp to make this go away.
