Subject: Muslim mayor of Hamtranck, (the only majority Muslim city in the US) gives Trump his endorsement .
As someone who grew up in SE MI and is very familiar with the region and its politics, I just say please do not conflate the Bangladeshi and Yemeni Muslim communities from Hamtramck with the Muslim population in Dearborn.
Also, know that the Middle Eastern population of SE MI is not some sort of monolith. Frankly, the Chaldean and Christian Lebanese population (mostly east side suburbs) usually will not hold hands with Muslims on many issues. The old world BS that the Christians had to endure still remains with them to this day. Those scars don’t heal.

The point I am making is it has nothing to do with her being a woman. Why is there an assumption that most Muslims would even vote for Trump because of this one idiot mayor? I would be the first person and have said many times that Biden has been totally wrong in this Gaza Israeli situation. Biden is old and from the 1960’s Israeli- Arab war and has been acting as if things have not changed and the environment remains the same. Additional Weapons should not have been provided, but that’s Biden 1968 mentality. And trump operates under that same way of thinking. I believe Harris would treat both Israel and Gaza differently if in control, but she is not. New generation of thought. And definitely not a Netanyahu butt licker like both Trump and Biden.
