Staff now saying she was just joking.
Guess you thought it was a serious issue. Not to her! She’ll just commit gun violence. Hahaha….
If it weren't for double standards, democrats would have no standards at all.
How and in what context is this a double standard situation? Harris has a pistol that serves the purpose of securing her homestead in the event of an unwelcome intruder. No one should have a problem with this. If you have a problem with that, perhaps it's you harboring the double standard.

I believe in gun control, mandatory training, background checks, locking weapons. I do think it's OK to have a gun for hunting, sport or security if you pass all those hoops.
Everyone with at least half a brain thinks owning a traditional shotgun or six-shooter for the reasons you mention is OK. Screw the NRA. Citizens don't need access to military rifles. None of this rocket science.

Doesn’t she understand, during a break in, the gun will just get taken away from her and used against her?

She's got more foreign policy experience than any president had since at least 1989, when George H.W. Bush was inaugurated. Spare us the "unqualified" B.S. If she's unqualified, then no president in my lifetime has been qualified.
And on guns, she reminds me of nearly every gun owner I know -- and I know many -- in that she understand one can own a gun and still advocate for reasonable restrictions, any suggestion to the contrary is utterly false.
She owns a freaking HANDGUN
