Did that go anywhere??

Amelia’s body type was perfect for the role and a great contrast to Greer. And how comfortable she was in her own skin unnerved Greer.
The awful brother even said, “at least my wife matches the wallpaper”
What did that even mean exactly??

The entire rest of the cast was miscast and bad. Dakota fanning, just not attractive. She needs to do some tweaks to her hair and sort herself out a bit. It was to the point of being distracting. And no, I don’t need to hear about how I don’t get it because I’m not an ivy leaguer one percenter, thanks. My husband went to an ivy, I know many of his friends who are legacies, and I’ve been to Nantucket at least 15 times. I get it. Thanks. This, however, was a tv show.
So, the husband, Liev - not cute enough for the role. Megan Fahy a babe and a good actor, too old to be the 25 year old influencer. Nope. Eve - she is a good looking normal woman. Her skin looked really bad without makeup. Her features did not stand out. She was thick in the arms and limbs. She looked god awful in the running scene. You can say what you want, yes, she’s normal. She looked like a very average mom in her big sweatshirt. Again tv is aspirational and she is not. At all. Also her acting was atrocious. Benji, wtf did they do that to his hair for. Already plain and that did not help. Scooter or whatever - come on. Nobody is pining for that man. That’s a giant oops. The husband of Dakota Fanning and the maid were the best. Everyone else just really sucked and made what should’ve been fun so boring.
The two main cops and detectives were fun!
The actress who played the female detective was also so great in Crazy Ex Girlfriend.

Looking at her stretched out, movement free face is horrifying. It is not flattering, was not flattering in the Zach Effron (he looked horrid as well), and I for the life of me cannot understand why she lost so much weight and keeps doing this to her face. She's an actress who needs to show facial emotional expressions, I found myself mesmerized with her appearance. Same thing happened when I watched the Zach thing, just can't get lost in what used to be her fabulous acting. I mean your yelling at your family that your not doing this anymore, your screaming, not one movement in that face. And what the f did she do to her nose?

I thought both her and the guy who played her husband were very good in their roles.
I still don’t understand the Bollywood type flash dance at the opening credits. Why?!
The guy who played Dakota Fanning's husband reminded me so much of Chris Pratt!

Great song, relevant lyrics (criminal), flashes by everyone (everyone’s a suspect), it’s before the death so all happy fake faces. So every episode you contrast these fake happy dance & celebration with the new facts you’ve learned about the characters or family.
Good dissonance.
Good to see how truly fake every one of them are in that happy dance. Most of them were very broken.
It’s a screwed up rich people book and movie. Like the Bret Easton Ellis stuff

I also didn't get the whole B-train story line. Like, they saw each other once on a train, then spent a few hours together and then...? It seemed so random to throw that in there.
